Wie läuft die Meldung ab?

Die Meldung erfolgt online über Manage2Sail. Dort findet ihr auch alle Infos zur Ausschreibung, Zeitplan und aktuellen Meldungen. Link zur Meldung gibt’s auf der Startseite.

Wie läuft die Registrierung ab?

Bei der Ankunft: Registrierung im Regattabüro im Bootshaus. Dort erhaltet ihr eure Unterlagen, Teilnehmerbändchen, Parkkarten (gegen 50€ Kaution) und alle wichtigen Infos vor Ort.

Entry is handled through Manage2Sail online. You’ll find all information about the Notice of Race, schedule, and current updates there. Entry link is available on the homepage.

How does registration work?

Upon arrival: Registration at the regatta office in the boathouse. There you’ll receive your documents, participant wristbands, parking permits (50€ deposit required) and all important

Wie soll ich Abfall entsorgen?

Umweltschutz ist auch auf dem Starnberger See wichtig! Bitte entsorgt allen Abfall – besonders Getränkeverpackungen von der Wasserversorgung – nach der Rückkehr in die dafür vorgesehenen Behälter im Hafen.

Wo finde ich die Abfallbehälter?

Die entsprechenden Sammelbehälter sind im Hafenbereich deutlich gekennzeichnet. Bei Fragen wendet euch an das Regattabüro oder die Helfer vor Ort.

Abfall über Bord?

Geht gar nicht! Der Starnberger See ist ein Trinkwasserspeicher – jeder kleine Beitrag zum Umweltschutz zählt.

How should I dispose of waste?

Environmental protection is important on Lake Starnberg too! Please dispose of all waste – especially drink packaging from on-water refreshments – in the designated containers in the harbor after returning.

Where can I find the waste containers?

The appropriate collection containers are clearly marked in the harbor area. If you have questions, contact the regatta office or helpers on-site.

Waste overboard?

Absolutely not! Lake Starnberg is a drinking water reservoir – every small contribution to environmental protection counts.

Wo kommen Boote und Trailer hin?

Bitte nur die gekennzeichneten Stellflächen nutzen. Die genaue Zuteilung erfolgt beim Check-in vor Ort. Trailer müssen nach dem Kranen sofort auf die zugewiesenen Parkplätze gefahrt werden.

Das Einhalten der zugewiesenen Bootsliegeplätze und Trailerparkplätze ist besonders wichtig – nur so können wir einen reibungslosen Ablauf gewährleisten!

Gibt es Kranmöglichkeiten?

Ja, alle Starboote werden über den Kran zu Wasser gelassen.

Kranzeiten:

• Mittwoch, 28.5.: 13:00 – 19:00 Uhr
• Donnerstag, 29.5.: 8:30 – 10:30 Uhr

Bei früherer Anreise bitte vorher im Club Büro melden.

Zur Abreise stehen für einen schnelleren Ablauf 2 Kräne zur Verfügung – bei der Ankunft gibt es einen Kran. Bitte haltet euch an die Pläne – bei 66 Booten ist Organisation alles!

Where do boats and trailers go?

Please use only the designated areas. Exact allocation happens during check-in on-site. Trailers must be moved to assigned parking areas immediately after crane operations.

It’s especially important to stick to your assigned boat berths and trailer parking spots – this is the only way we can ensure smooth operations!

Are crane facilities available?

Yes, all Star boats will be launched via crane.

Crane times:

• Wednesday, May 28: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Thursday, May 29: 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM

If arriving earlier, please contact the club office in advance.

For departure, 2 cranes will be available for faster operations – during arrival there is one crane. Please stick to the plan– with 66 boats, organization is everything!

Was ist das CoHub und wer darf es nutzen?
Teilnehmer der IDM können vom 26. bis 28. Mai kostenfrei das e+k CoHub von Ehret+Klein nutzen – ideal zum Arbeiten, Umziehen, Pause machen oder kurz durchatmen.

What is the CoHub and who can use it?
All IDM participants are welcome to use the e+k CoHub provided by Ehret+Klein free of charge from May 26 to 28. Whether you need a quiet place to work, take a break, or change – this space is open for you.

Preis: 180 € pauschal für alle Tage

Are there wristbands for guests or companions?
Yes! For IDM 2025, we offer all-inclusive wristbands for guests and companions. These grant access to all food & drink services at the regatta venue – including breakfast, free beer after racing, and dinner.

Price: €180 flat rate for all days

Order & Payment:

• Please pay in advance via PayPal Pool  … The sooner the better: so our caterer can plan accordingly 🙂
• Please include sail number & quantity in the payment description
• Wristbands can be picked up at the regatta office – upon showing proof of payment by the Skippers Meeting at the latest (Thursday 11:00 AM)

Wer ist die Jury?

Die IDM wird von einer internationalen Jury geleitet. Juryobmann ist Peter Möckl (IJ) UYCA. Die Jury ist unabhängig vom Wettfahrtkomitee und entscheidet über alle Proteste, Anträge auf Wiedergutmachung und andere regelrelevante Angelegenheiten.

Wie reiche ich einen Protest ein?

Proteste können über https://juryterminal.manage2sail.com/. Alternativ stehen schriftliche Protestformulare im Regattabüro zur Verfügung.

Protestfrist:

• 90 Minuten nach Zieldurchgang des letzten Bootes der letzten Wettfahrt des Tages
• Bei Vorfällen an Land: 30 Minuten nach dem Signal “heute keine Wettfahrten mehr”

Wann finden Anhörungen statt?

Spätestens 30 Minuten nach Ablauf der Protestfrist werden die Anhörungstermine bekannt gegeben. Anhörungen können auch vor Ablauf der Protestfrist beginnen.

Who is the jury?

The IDM is managed by an international jury. Jury Chairman is Peter Möckl (IJ) UYCA. The jury is independent from the race committee and decides on all protests, requests for redress, and other rule-related matters.

How do I file a protest?

Protests can be submitted through the online system on the event website. Alternatively, written protest forms are available at the regatta office.

Protest time limit:

• 90 minutes after the last boat finishes the last race of the day
• For incidents ashore: 30 minutes after the “no more racing today” signal

When do hearings take place?

Hearing schedules will be published no later than 30 minutes after the protest time limit expires. Hearings may begin before the protest time limit ends.

Gibt es Standardstrafen?

Ja, für bestimmte Regelverstöße können Standardstrafen ohne Anhörung verhängt werden (z.B. für Verstöße gegen Sicherheitsbestimmungen oder Ausrüstungsregeln). Diese sind in Anhang C der Segelanweisungen aufgeführt.

Are there standard penalties?

Yes, standard penalties may be imposed without a hearing for certain rule breaches (e.g., safety regulation violations or equipment rule infractions). These are listed in Addendum C of the Sailing Instructions.

Gibt’s Parkplätze direkt beim Club?
Wie ihr wisst, ist die Parksituation auf dem Gelände des Münchner Yacht Clubs (MYC) während der IDM begrenzt. Trotzdem wollen wir möglichst vielen Teams eine Stellfläche bieten. Wichtig:

• Kein genereller Anspruch auf einen Parkplatz direkt beim MYC – bitte plant das ein.

• Parkdisziplin ist Pflicht: Teilnehmer, Helfer und Mitglieder – bitte helft mit, dass alles reibungslos läuft.

Wie läuft das mit der Parkkarte?

• Jedes Team erhält eine Parkkarte für ein Auto gegen 50 € Kaution in bar.

• Ausgabe der Parkkarte erfolgt bei der Anmeldung im Regattabüro.

• Keine Garantie auf einen Parkplatz – früh kommen hilft.

Wo kann man sonst parken?
Neben dem Clubgelände gibt’s gut nutzbare öffentliche Parkflächen:

• Seeseitig auf der Possenhofener Straße beim Böhlergrundstück

• In der Oskar-von-Miller-Straße

• Seeseitig nach der Unterführung ab Einfahrt Oberfeld

• In der Wilhelmshöhenstraße (meist freie Plätze)

• Westgrundstück des MYC (siehe Lageplan)

Wo darf man nicht parken?

• Possenhofener Straße im Bereich Westgrundstück und Club

• Unterer Seeweg

• Oberfeld

Die Beschilderung ist klar – aber lieber zweimal hinschauen. Wer sicher stehen will, hält sich an die offiziellen Hinweise.

Are there parking spaces directly at the club?

As you know, parking space at the Munich Yacht Club (MYC) premises is limited during the IDM. Nevertheless, we want to offer parking spaces to as many teams as possible. Important:

• No general entitlement to a parking space directly at the MYC – please plan accordingly.
• Parking discipline is mandatory: Participants, helpers and members – please help ensure everything runs smoothly.

How does the parking permit work?

• Each team receives one parking permit for one car for a €50 cash deposit.
• Parking permits are issued during registration at the regatta office.
• No guarantee of a parking space – arriving early helps.

Where else can you park?

Besides the club premises, there are well-usable public parking areas:

• Lake-side on Possenhofener Straße at the Böhler property
• On Oskar-von-Miller-Straße
• Lake-side after the underpass from Oberfeld entrance
• On Wilhelmshöhenstraße (usually free spaces available)
• MYC West property (see site map)

Where is parking not allowed?

• Possenhofener Straße in the area of West property and club
• Unterer Seeweg
• Oberfeld

The signage is clear – but better to look twice. If you want to park safely, stick to the official guidelines.

Gibt’s ein Rahmenprogramm?

Na klar – wer segelt, darf auch feiern!
Freut euch auf ein abwechslungsreiches Rahmenprogramm während der IDM 2025 – mit Freibier nach dem Segeln, entspannten Abendveranstaltungen und der feierlichen Siegerehrung.

Was ist inklusive?
Für Teilnehmer ist das gesamte Programm (inkl. Frühstück, Stegbier, Abendessen) über das Startgeld abgedeckt. Weitere Getränke können über die Segelnummer angeschrieben und abgerechnet werden.

Darf ich Begleitpersonen mitbringen?

Unbedingt! Der Starnberger See ist nicht nur ein Segelrevier, sondern auch ein wunderschönes Ausflugsziel. Familienmitglieder, Freunde und Fans sind herzlich willkommen.

Is there a social program?

Absolutely – sailing is only half the fun!
We’re putting together a great social lineup for IDM 2025, including post-race free beer, relaxed evening gatherings, and the official award ceremony.

What’s included?
For participants, the entire program (including breakfast, dockside beer, and dinner) is covered by the entry fee. Additional drinks can be charged and settled using the sail number.

Can I bring guests or companions?

Of course! Starnberger See is not only a racing venue but also a beautiful spot for a weekend escape. Family, friends, and fans are very welcome.
For guests and companions, we offer all-inclusive wristbands – see the “Guest Wristbands” section for details.

Gibt es Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten vor Ort?

Der MYC bietet begrenzte Matratzenlagermöglichkeiten. Für Hotels und Pensionen in der Umgebung empfehlen wir die örtliche Touristeninformation oder gängige Buchungsportale.

Are there accommodation options on-site?

MYC offers limited bunk bed facilities. For hotels and guesthouses in the area, we recommend contacting local tourist information or using common booking platforms.

Gibt es eine Vermessung vor Ort?

Ja, plant bitte ausreichend Zeit für die technische Abnahme ein. Details zu Ort, Zeiten und Ablauf findet ihr in den Segelanweisungen. Boote und ihre Ausrüstung können jederzeit während der Regatta kontrolliert werden.

Is there equipment inspection on-site?

Yes, please plan sufficient time for technical inspection. Details about location, times, and procedures can be found in the Sailing Instructions. Boats and their equipment may be inspected at any time during the regatta.

Wie viele Wettfahrten sind geplant?

Es sind 7 Wettfahrten geplant, wobei mindestens 4 absolviert werden müssen, um eine gültige Meisterschaft zu segeln. Bei 5 oder mehr Wettfahrten kommt der schlechteste Streicher zur Anwendung.

How many races are planned?

7 races are scheduled, with a minimum of 4 required for a valid championship. When 5 or more races are completed, one discard will apply.
