On the last Whitsun weekend, the Beate Uhse Memorial Prize took place at the Flensburg Sailing Club on the Flensburg Fjord.
There were teams from Germany, Hungary and Denmark at the start!

Unfortunately, no races could be sailed on the first day due to lack of wind, but the participants were compensated with a delicious regatta dinner on the terrace of the Flensburger Sailing Club.
The second day finally started with two races in 10-18 kn wind. After a commanding performance with two first places, Max Kohlhoff, Jesper Spehr were in the lead ahead of Martin Jahrmarkt and Ole Burzinski and Helge Spehr with Marcel Vockel in third. The day was rounded off with a delicious BBQ in the evening.

Three more races were scheduled for the third and final day. These were sailed in fantastic weather and under difficult wind conditions from 6 to 12 knots.
Max Kohlhoff won with Jesper Spehr on the foresheet, followed by Helge Spehr and Marcel Vockel. Third place went to Martin Jahrmarkt and Ole Burzinski.

The Junior Cup for the best helmsman under 30 in the Star boat went to the team of Henrik Huchel and Fritz Wassner.

All participants enjoyed the weekend very much, it was a pleasure to be guests of the FSC and to sail beautiful races on the Flensburg Fjord. We thank all the helpers and will be happy to come back next year.
